Senate passes Continuing Resolution

Minutes ago, the Senate passed a continuing resolution that would fund the Federal Government until November 15th, at a level consistent with recent budget levels. The Senate CR maintains all funding for the Affordable Care Act. The bill will now be sent back to the House of Representatives for their consideration of the Senate amendments.  Current funding for most Federal programs, including important rural health programs, expires on September 30th.
