NRHA comes to Atlanta

NRHA comes to Atlanta this spring for its flagship event, the association’s 42nd Annual Rural Health Conference May 7-10 at the Marriott Marquis, with unique offerings courtesy of the Magnolia State.

The Annual Rural Health Conference and NRHA’s 3rd Rural Hospital Innovation Summit run concurrently with mutually accessible programming to ensure attendees get the most out of their rich and varied agendas. This year, attendees have the additional option of attending the CDC Experience, held on location at CDC headquarters May 9. The CDC will open its doors to NRHA for an introduction to the agency’s rural initiatives, with a reception to follow.

Last year’s preconference events, the Health Equity and Rural Medical Education Conferences, drew standingroom- only attendance due to their stellar programming. This year’s agendas promise even more engaging and vital presentations on topics that have gained increasing interest.

NRHA’s Rural Health Awards banquet is a fitting end to the week’s events, showcasing the best of what people can do when they dedicate their lives to rural health. The awardees are chosen from a very competitive field, and their accomplishments are celebrated in short, often emotional video presentations.

Our voices are louder together, so be sure to share your photos and impressions from these NRHA events on social media. We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta for some front porch-quality conversation about the rural health issues that matter most in your community.
