Senate Passes Tax Reform Legislation
In the early hours of the morning, the Senate passed their version of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The House of Representatives passed their version of the bill just 2 weeks ago on November 16th. NRHA still has concerns about both bills and the potential results of their passage.
The House and Senate will soon meet in Conference to reconcile the differences between the two bills, after which each house will have to vote again on the legislation. NRHA will continue to monitor the tax reform process and update our members on new developments.
The full text of the Senate bill can be read here.
