NRHA voices concern over national health information technology program

NRHA and the National Rural HIT Coalition have each submitted a letter to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT) in response to their request for comments on the May 22 draft description of the program for the establishment of HIT Regional Extension Centers. The National Rural HIT Coalition is composed of many national organizations with a rural focus, and NRHA is a member of the coalition. The responses address NRHA's sincere concern over ONCHIT's direction with this program and rural providers.
