Today - as always - we honor rural health professionals like you

‘Tis the season to celebrate. Join us today as we celebrate the National Rural Health Day. The National Rural Health Association, in its continued efforts to recognize achievements in rural health, joins the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and others in observing National Rural Health Day. This day honors those who have dedicated their time and resources to ensure accessible, quality care for the nearly 62 million people who call rural America home. Today for NRHA:
  • NRHA’s 2011 president Kris Sparks will speak on the “Power of Rural” at an event hosted by the Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health in observance of National Rural Health Day.
  • NRHA hosts the Helmsley Foundation’s health information technology policy meeting inWashington, D.C.
  • NRHA CEO Alan Morgan will discuss rural health innovations and goals during the Tennessee Rural Health Conference.
  • And as always, we'll be making your voice louder on Capitol Hill, advocating for affordable access to health care in rural areas.
