Fill your sails with insight. Chart a course to calmer seas.
The Rural Medical Education (RME) Group is a special interest group of NRHA committed to advancing the training of physicians for rural practice through network development and advocacy. The flagship event, NRHA's Rural Medical Education Conference, is the Association's first virtual, online-only event occurring live June 16.
The entire event will be available on demand afterward, as seen in this virtual Annual Conference presentation preview featuring NRHA CEO Alan Morgan, President Pat Schou, Government Affairs lead Maggie Elehwany, and Member Services head Brock Slabach.
NRHA will always prioritize the safety and well-being of our members, event attendees, and all rural Americans. For this reason, the Association has decided to host our 2020 Annual Conference events online in streamlined, interactive environment that includes enhanced opportunities for learning and networking at a discounted rate.
NRHA’s inaugural virtual event offerings will include the following features:
- Live keynote presentations with extended Q&A opportunities
- Access to over 85 concurrent sessions across 9 content tracks
- Live Q&A during and after presentations from over 200 speakers
- An interactive exhibit hall experience featuring live networking chats
- Unique chances to socialize: Host a video meet-up with colleagues
- Robust research poster sessions and 2020 NRHA Award winner profiles
- And many more additional features to come.
The best part: You can experience all Annual Conference content on demand up to a year after the event occurs.
Don't forget to also register for NRHA's Annual Rural Health Conference, the nation's largest gathering of rural health pros, which occurs afterward.
These events are created for anyone with an interest in rural health care, including rural health practitioners, hospital administrators, clinic directors and lay health workers, social workers, state and federal health employees, academics, community members and more.
We’ll help you navigate the shifting currents of rural health with more than 60 innovative, practical, and cost-saving sessions — and even more at NRHA’s 5th Rural Hospital Innovation Summit.
