Nation’s leading rural health orgs unite

NRHA is proud to announce on National Rural Health Day the formation of the Rural Health Action Alliance (RHAA), a coalition of the nation’s leading health care organizations representing providers and facilities that provide millions of Americans with high-quality, evidence-based care – particularly those living and working in rural and underserved areas.

RHAA will work to ensure equitable access to care in rural America to bridge the rural divide.

Together, we seek to advance federal policies to improve rural health outcomes, including access to COVID-19 treatments and vaccines, continued expansion of telehealth technologies, and equitable resources for rural providers compared to their urban counterparts.

With the election behind us, RHAA hopes to be a resource to Congress and the new Administration as they continue crafting solutions to the ongoing public health emergency.

When America prevails from this crisis, RHAA is committed to continuing to support rural health and health care.

Your chance to add your voice to the coalition is at NRHA’s virtual 32nd Annual Rural Health Policy Institute Feb. 9-11 advocating directly for the issues your community cares about.
