Kaiser report focuses on the future of Medicaid

Earlier today the Kaiser Family Foundation released a comprehensive report on the future of Medicaid from a national and state-by-state prospective. The report analyzes the likely outcomes for patients and providers in states where Medicaid expansion is undertaken and where Medicaid laws remain the same.  A full copy of the report is available here. In response to the expansion of Medicaid included in the Affordable Care Act (ACA), NRHA updated its policy on Medicaid in rural America.  That paper is available here. Medicaid policy remains at the forefront of national health care policy as Congress reacts to decisions made in the ACA and at the state level.  NRHA's annual Policy Institute in Washington, D.C. is a great opportunity to learn more about the implications of changing Medicaid laws and all other issues related to the development and implementation of health care legislation and regulation at the federal level.
